Peanut Butter Pup Treats!!

I decided to give to the most appreciate animal gifts this year instead of my human friends. My friends don't wag their tails in appreciation after opening gifts, although some do after some vino!

I wanted to share the recipe. They are so easy to make and from what I hear the pups are loving them! Mine was in the middle of the kitchen while I was baking them on quality control duty! (she approved each batch by the way!) They are preservative and additive free. Which is refreshing thinking of all the treats we feed them!

Ingredients
1 1/2 - cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 - cups white flour
1/2 - cup peanut butter (all natural or organic)
1 - cup water
2 - tablespoons oil

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine oil peanut butter and water. Add flour, one cup @ at time, kneading into a dough. Knead into a firm ball and roll 1/4 in thick. ( I didn't roll, I pinched off pieces and made squares with my hands). Cut into pieces or cut with a bone shaped cookie cutter. Bake for 20 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
